Festival and Pilgrimage of the Madonna del Carmine delle Serre

The 2025 edition took place within the context of the Jubilee Year. The 9th Carmelite March, held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, departed from the church of Santa Maria Goretti in Cerreto and reached the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Carmine delle Serre by following the ancient path through the pine forests of Vallerotonda. Along the way, pilgrims prayed the Way of the Cross of Hope. At the sanctuary, there was a visit to the chapel of the apparition, a moment of refreshment, and in the afternoon, Holy Mass presided over by the bishop, following the procession with the statue of the Madonna. The celebrations then culminated in the festival on July 16 in Acquafondata, Lazio.
