Feste Aragonesi 2025 — 44th Edition

The 44th edition of the Feste Aragonesi in Montalbano Elicona (Messina, Sicily) was held on August 16 and 17, 2025. Saturday the 16th began at 4:00 PM with the Palio of the districts in Piazza Maria SS della Divina Provvidenza, organized by Mons Albus, followed by the opening of the medieval craft market and taverns, and a concert by Musicamaga.

On Sunday the 17th, the highlight was the Medieval Historical Pageant of King Frederick III of Aragon "in terram et castrum Montis Albani," which wound its way from the Castle to the main square. The program also included the chivalric show "Tutto il fascino del Medioevo" by the Equites Maenarum group, a performance by the Rione Panzera flag-wavers, a concert by the Compagnia La Giostra, and, new this year, the show "Orientis Tempus" by the Compagnia Arteare, featuring fakirism, balancing acts, and fire performances. The event was organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the Historical-Religious Re-enactment Association, Mons Albus, AMALAC, and Pro Loco.
