Festa te lu Contadinu

The Festa te lu Contadinu 2025 returned to enliven the village of Serrano, in the municipality of Carpignano Salentino (Lecce), with its August evenings dedicated to Salento's peasant tradition.

There was no shortage of the great classics of Salento's rustic cuisine served at the long banquet tables: ciceri e tria, lu granu stumpatu, vegetable appetizers, pittule, and homemade desserts, all accompanied by local wine. The evenings were enlivened by folk music, featuring the group Nessuna Pretesa and the Balla Balla Tour with Scianari and folk group, and some evenings were broadcast live by Salento Television. The 2025 edition was confirmed as one of the most popular festivals of the Salento summer.
