Edition 2025 — San Prospero

On August 21st, 2025, Poggio Sannita celebrated its patron saint San Prospero with a solemn mass, procession, band, and fireworks. The most important festival of the year in the Alto Molise village made famous by the Babaci.

The patron saint festival of San Prospero on August 21st, 2025, confirmed the centrality of this event in the life of Poggio Sannita. A solemn mass, a procession with the statue of the saint through the village streets, a brass band, and fireworks marked the day, experienced by the community and by those returning to the village during the summer, amidst the Babaci and the flavours of scherpelle.
