Festa in Verde Festival

For two days, in the heart of Municipio Roma III, the Villa di Faonte farmhouses were transformed into an open-air laboratory. The event was coordinated by Legambiente Lazio, led by president Roberto Scacchi, in collaboration with the municipal administration.

The program alternated between creative and nature-focused paths for children, tastings of local products, and activities dedicated to psychophysical well-being. Ample space was given to meetings and debates on fast fashion, climate justice, and environmental misinformation, with the participation of the Youth Climate Meeting Lazio. The environmental cinema section curated by Cinema in Verde offered screenings introduced by discussions with experts and journalists.

The two days also highlighted the commitment to the restoration and reopening of the Villa di Faonte and Vigne Nuove farmhouses, archaeological and environmental assets destined to return to the citizens as new cultural and social spaces for the city of Rome.
