Edition 2025 — Santa Lucia

In 2025, Miranda also celebrated Santa Lucia on the last Sunday of August, with the midday mass at the mountain chapel. Faithful and visitors reached the small church to spend the day there, enjoying views of the Volturno Valley and conviviality, as part of the Mirandese August calendar.

The 2025 edition of the Festa di Santa Lucia renewed the ritual that annually draws faithful and emigrants to Miranda. On the last Sunday of August, the community ascended to the mountain chapel for the solemn mass at 12:00 PM, then spent the day in the surrounding area. The Sunday evening masses throughout the summer and the chapel's illumination in the preceding week accompanied the event, which was part of the rich program of the Mirandese August.

Programme

The 2025 festival followed the traditional pattern: Sunday evening masses in the small church during the summer, chapel illumination in the week prior, and the solemn mass at 12:00 PM on the last Sunday of August.
