Festa di Sant'Onofrio

The 2025 edition of the Festa di Sant'Onofrio in Agnone confirmed one of the most cherished traditions of Alto Molise. The June 11th pilgrimage brought the saint's statue back to the mountain sanctuary, along a path of over 7 km punctuated by traditional stops at contrada Secolare and contrada Porfilio, where locals refreshed the pilgrims. At the summit, Mass and fireworks, followed by a long day of celebration with singing, dancing, and picnics.

Traditional program: descent of the statue on June 9th; pilgrimage on June 11th towards Monte Sant'Onofrio with stops at contrade Secolare and Porfilio, Mass and fireworks at the summit, community picnic on the mountain.
