The patronal festival of Cadoneghe in honour of Saint Andrew the Apostle
The Festa di Sant'Andrea is the patronal festival of the Municipality of Cadoneghe, on the outskirts of Padua, and is celebrated on November 30th in honour of Saint Andrew the Apostle, to whom the city's parish church is dedicated. It is an event that intertwines the religious dimension with civil and popular celebrations.
The celebrations include a charity fishing competition, rides for the little ones, cultural and musical evenings, and a food stall with dishes from Venetian cuisine. To crown the festival, there are fireworks. The November patronal festival should be distinguished from the Sagra di Cadoneghe, the large community festival that takes place between May and June at the parish church of Saint Andrew the Apostle.
The 2026 edition of the Festa di Sant'Andrea celebrates the patron saint of Cadoneghe on November 30th. The day and the preceding days combine religious observance with popular celebrations: charity fishing competition, rides, musical and cultural evenings, food stall, and fireworks.
The detailed programme with times and events will be released by the Municipality and the parish in the weeks prior.
