Festa di San Giuliano e dell'Ospitalità

The Festa di San Giuliano 2025 in Macerata unfolded from August 23rd to 31st, opening on Saturday, August 23rd. The program alternated cultural and popular events: the Terracotta Whistle Exhibition in the shop windows of the city center, the Grandparents' Toy Exhibition, the dialect poetry meeting "Dialettando Insieme" at Palazzo Conventati, and several musical evenings in Piazza della Libertà with a cocktail bar.

During the final weekend (August 30-31), the traditional fair took place with approximately 230 exhibitors in Piazza Garibaldi and the surrounding streets, accompanied by a children's market and dance and volleyball performances. The religious climax, on Sunday, August 31st at 6:00 PM on the steps of the Duomo, was the solemn Holy Mass in honor of San Giuliano, presided over by Bishop Nazzareno Marconi, followed by the procession. To facilitate travel, free buses were operated on August 30th and 31st.
