Festa della Transumanza

The 2025 edition of the Festa della Transumanza in Tremosine sul Garda (Brescia) re-enacted the traditional agricultural-pastoral rite of herds descending from mountain pastures. The herd, which set off early in the morning from Malga Ciapa in Tremalzo, reached the Alpe del Garda Dairy, where the day continued with a celebration.

Brescian spit-roasted meat, polenta, bouncy castles, and a mechanical bull for children animated the dairy's grounds, in a unique landscape between the mountains and Lake Garda. The festival, organized by the Pro Loco of Tremosine, reaffirmed its role in promoting alpine traditions and the local cheese production chain.
