Edition 2025 — Festa della Transumanza
The Festa della Transumanza in Ampezzo took place on October 4-5, 2025, with the descent of the herds from the pastures, tastings of Carnia cuisine, workshops for children, walks with shepherds, and music.
The 2025 edition was held on October 4 and 5 in Ampezzo. Two days dedicated to the return of the herds from the pastures, with the descent of the decorated cows, tastings of mountain products and the herdsman's lunch, farm visits, workshops for the little ones, and live music, in a festive atmosphere that celebrated the pastoral civilization of Carnia.
