Edition 2025 — Festa della Segale
The 2025 edition of the Festa della Segale took place on August 9 in Rhêmes-Saint-Georges, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in the hamlet of Vieux. At the communal oven, visitors witnessed the traditional baking of black rye bread, with the possibility of purchasing it, on a day dedicated to the peasant culture of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
The Festa della Segale 2025 renewed the tradition of black bread in Rhêmes-Saint-Georges. On Saturday, August 9, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the communal oven of Vieux, visitors could witness the artisanal baking of rye bread and purchase it fresh from the oven. The day, sponsored by the Gran Paradiso National Park, highlighted the peasant culture and typical products of the Valle di Rhêmes.
