Festa dell'Aia

The 2025 edition of the Festa dell'Aia confirmed the great appeal of this popular festival in Contrada Virbo, Monopoli. The evening of August 11 featured the panzerotto, fried non-stop by local volunteers and served with pettole, wine, and beer.

Accompanying the festivities was live folk music by the group I Cipurrid and the dances of the pizzica and quadriglia, which drew visitors of all ages onto the dance floor. An event that renewed the tradition of Apulian peasant culture in a festive and convivial atmosphere.
