Festa del Maron - Valrovina

The 2025 edition of the Festa del Maron renewed the long tradition born in 1974 in Valrovina. In the streets of the hillside hamlet of Bassano del Grappa, there were plenty of roasted chestnuts, new wine, and typical dishes, accompanied by the customary maron-based dessert competitions.

Organised by the Associazione Il Castagno and village volunteers, the festival, as usual, featured dialect theatre, conferences, and music, confirming itself as one of the most beloved autumn events in the Bassano hills.

The detailed programme for the 2025 edition, spread over several days in mid-October, featured the traditional structure of the festival: chestnut tastings, the "Dolse al Maron" dessert competition, dialect theatre, conferences, and concerts.
