Festa dei Vicoli 2025
The 2025 edition confirmed the formula of the gastronomic route spread throughout the village of Ponzano Romano, in Lazio. From 8:00 PM, each square in the historic center hosted a course of the 20-euro fixed-price menu: appetizers with beans and bruschetta in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, wild boar pappardelle and venison tonnarelli in Piazza d'Erbe, side dishes in Piazza San Nicolò, desserts at Largo Casa Amata, and beer, cocktails, and dance music in Piazza dell'Oratorio. From 9:30 PM, fried pizzas and crepes were served.
At Largo Casa Amata, the «Il Polverino» Dragon Boat Club displayed its boat with a film screening dedicated to the club's history and the environmental restoration of the Tiber Valley, while the highly anticipated night excursion on the river took place at 9:30 PM. The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality with the Pro Loco, the Parish of S. Nicola da Bari, the Confraternity of San Sebastiano, and the «Giovani a una certa maniera» association, raised funds for the restoration of a portion of the Palazzo Abbaziale.
