Edition 2025 — Festa dei Gunbi
The 36th Festa dei Gunbi took place in Toirano from August 7 to 10, 2025, with four evenings dedicated to extra virgin olive oil and ancient rock-hewn oil mills. Gastronomy, music, and a market enlivened the medieval historic centre of the village in the Val Varatella.
The 2025 edition, the 36th, enlivened Toirano from August 7 to 10 with four evenings of celebration in the medieval historic centre. The protagonist, as always, was extra virgin olive oil and the culture of the 'gunbi', the ancient rock-hewn oil mills of the village.
Amidst food stands, a market, and music, the festival confirmed its role as one of the most beloved events in the Savona hinterland, in line with the olive oil tradition of the Val Varatella.
