Edition 2025 — Festa dea Lumera

In 2025 too, the Festa dea Lumera took place on October 31st in Grantorto (Padova), at the El Filò sports facilities: the Venetian tradition of lantern-pumpkins on All Saints' Eve, with a pumpkin carving contest, theatrical performances, storytelling, and convivial moments, organized by the Municipality and the Pro Loco.

The 2025 edition of the Festa dea Lumera in Grantorto (Padova) took place on October 31st at the El Filò sports facilities. The festival re-enacted the ancient Venetian tradition of "lumere", the carved and illuminated pumpkins typical of All Saints' Eve.

Among the events were the pumpkin carving contest, theatrical performances, storytelling, and convivial moments, in an evening designed as an anti-Halloween to reaffirm local roots against the imported festival. The event was organized by the Municipality and the Pro Loco of Grantorto.
