Festa de L'Unità of Fiesole

In 2025, the Festa de L'Unità of Fiesole experienced an exceptional and downsized edition. Instead of the usual multi-week event, the organizers proposed a minimal version spread over two weekends in July, moving the venue from the traditional Borgunto field to the Casa del Popolo, utilizing its terrace and indoor hall.

The decision was dictated by a phase of internal organizational difficulty and a shortage of volunteers. Although scaled back, the festival involved the Democratic Party alongside local associations and sports groups that historically collaborate on the event. The organizers were committed to not interrupting a tradition of over seventy years, announcing the return to the full format for 2026 from the outset.
