Ferrara Buskers Festival

The 38th edition of the Ferrara Buskers Festival was held from August 27th to 31st, 2025, in the historic center of Ferrara, preceded by a preview in Comacchio on August 24th. The showcase brought together 259 artists from 19 nationalities, including over 100 under 35s, for a total of approximately 370 hours of performances, including the Dopofestival, with over 60 shows each evening.

Among the highlights were the first edition of the Gianna Nannini Prize, personally awarded by the singer-songwriter to the Tribalneed collective, and the signing of five partnership agreements with as many cultural foundations from South Korea. The edition saw about 20,000 paying visitors, 36 workshops, 25 speakers at talks, 19 cultural associations involved, and two performances at the Ferrara Penitentiary, confirming the festival's international and social mission.
