Edition 2025 — Ferragosto in the Egadi
The 2025 edition of Ferragosto in the Egadi Islands brought Favignana to life with three evenings of music in Piazza Madrice, from August 14th to 16th, along with the traditional Assumption procession. On August 14th, the Macuccusonu performed, followed by an RMC101 DJ set; on August 15th, after the procession of the Madonna from the Mother Church to the tourist pier with the casting of the floral wreath, it was time for the "Figli delle Stelle" live show featuring the greatest hits of the 70s-90s; on August 16th, the grand finale featured a tribute to the 883.
Ferragosto 2025 in the Egadi Islands took place in Favignana from August 14th to 16th, with the core musical events held in Piazza Madrice and the religious procession of the Assumption.
- August 14th (10:00 PM): performance by the group Macuccusonu and DJ set with RMC101.
- August 15th: at 9:00 PM, the procession of the Madonna from the Mother Church to the tourist pier with the casting of the floral wreath into the sea; at 10:30 PM, the "Figli delle Stelle Live" concert, dedicated to the 70s-90s repertoire, followed by the RMC101 DJ set.
- August 16th (10:00 PM): tribute to 883 and RMC101 DJ set.
The Assumption celebrations also involved the islands of Levanzo and Marettimo, with processions and festive moments, confirming the strong bond between the Egadi community, Marian devotion, and the sea.
