Edition 2025 — Crocifisso degli Angeli
The 2025 edition of the Feast of the SS. Crocifisso degli Angeli in Cammarata was an exception to tradition: due to restoration work on the Church of San Vito, the usual focal point of the festival, the celebrations were moved from the customary last Sunday of May to the second half of June, between June 21 and 30.
Despite the shift, the community confirmed all the most identifying elements of the festival: the folkloric Cavalcade with horses and riders in procession from the home of the Paliante, solemn masses, the procession of the Crucifix on the 1863 float, and the traditional fireworks displays. The participation of the faithful and returning emigrants confirmed the strong bond between Cammarata and its oldest devotion.
