Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Fortunatus
In 2025 as well, the small village of Bolognola, in the province of Macerata, celebrated its patron saint Saint Fortunatus on June 1st. The celebrations took place around the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, in the village square, combining the religious dimension with the traditional Sausage Festival. Along the village streets, food stalls offered tastings and sales of Bolognola sausage and other typical products from the Macerata mountains, on a day of celebration deeply felt by this community in the Apennines of the Sibillini Mountains.
