2025 Edition
The 2025 Feast of the Most Holy Saviour took place in Militello in Val di Catania, in the province of Catania, throughout the patronal celebrations. The Cantata on August 8th opened the calendar with the evening procession of the painting of Christ the Saviour, followed by the novena and the vigil on August 17th.
On August 18th, the Patron Saint's Day, after the solemn Pontifical Mass, the fercolo of the Saviour left the Mother Church for the procession, accompanied by children dressed in red walking towards Monte Calvario, amidst 101 cannon shots and fireworks. The celebrations concluded with the octave on August 25th, confirming the vitality of one of the most beloved religious festivals in the Val di Noto.
