Edition 2025 — Feast of the Most Holy Saviour

In 2025, the Feast of the Most Holy Saviour in Chiaramonte Gulfi took place from August 2nd to 7th, with the official opening on Sunday, August 3rd, and the climax on the solemnity of August 6th. The main day featured cannon blasts and bell-ringing at dawn, the distribution of sunflowers, marches by the Cutello band in Piazza Duomo, Eucharistic celebrations, and the evening procession of the statue through the town streets. August 7th concluded with adoration, a thanksgiving mass, and the Most Holy Saviour Lottery draw.

Feast of the Most Holy Saviour 2025

The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Most Holy Saviour in Chiaramonte Gulfi (Ragusa) took place from August 2nd to 7th. On Saturday, August 2nd, a solemn Eucharistic celebration was held at the Church of the Carmine, presided over by the Bishop of Ragusa, Monsignor Giuseppe La Placa, while on Sunday, August 3rd, the official opening of the festivities was announced by bell-ringing, followed by the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and the evocative unveiling of the marble statue.

The solemnity of August 6th featured cannon blasts and festive bell-ringing at dawn and noon, the distribution of sunflowers, symphonic marches by the Cutello brass band in Piazza Duomo, and a series of Eucharistic celebrations. In the afternoon, the lowering and preparation of the statue preceded the evening procession through the streets of the historic center. On August 7th, the festival concluded with Eucharistic adoration, a thanksgiving mass, and the Most Holy Saviour Lottery draw.
