The 2025 edition

In 2025, the Feast of the Madonna della Catena in Roccalumera confirmed its devotional strength. Preceded by a heartfelt novena, the festival saw the 19th-century wooden statue carried in a solemn procession through the streets of the Baglio-Ficara district, decorated with lights, drapes, and flowers by the residents. The community renewed the custom of gold ex-voto offerings that enrich the Virgin's mantle, while the convivial evenings organized by the festival committee enlivened the neighborhood, involving adults and children, until the customary final fireworks display.
