Feast of the Madonna del Tindari

On September 7th and 8th, 2025, the sanctuary of Tindari, in Patti, hosted the traditional Feast of the Madonna del Tindari. After the novena that began in late August, the evocative procession of the statue took place on the evening of September 7th, followed by the fireworks display. On September 8th, the festival culminated with the solemn Pontifical Mass and the offering of the votive lamp to the Black Madonna. The event, one of the most heartfelt in Sicily, drew thousands of faithful and pilgrims, many of whom arrived on foot from the towns of the Nebrodi mountains and the Tyrrhenian coast of Messina. The Municipality of Patti implemented specific traffic measures to manage the influx.
