Feast of the Madonna del Santissimo Rosario

The 2025 Feast of the Madonna del Santissimo Rosario in Rocca di Cambio was held on July 12 and 13, 2025, confirming the most anticipated summer appointment for the community of this Abruzzo village in the province of L'Aquila.

As per tradition, the two days combined liturgical rites, Eucharistic celebrations, and the solemn procession of the image of the Virgin, in memory of the extraordinary discovery of the fresco that occurred in the Collegiate Church of San Pietro in 1822. Alongside the religious moments, the festival offered opportunities for gathering and conviviality for residents and vacationers on the Altopiano delle Rocche, enlivening the village streets in an atmosphere of participation and popular devotion.
