Feast of the Madonna del Rosario (Patronal Festival of Aragona)

The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Madonna del Rosario in Aragona (AG) confirmed the town's strong bond with its patron saint. The religious program included the preparatory triduum at the Church of the Madonna del Rosario, morning bell ringing, a tribute from children, the Supplication to the Madonna of Pompeii, and the Solemn Mass.

On the afternoon of October 7th, the procession of the 18th-century wooden statue traversed the historic center amidst the faithful, a brass band, and popular devotion, while the civil side of the festival enlivened the squares with illuminations, market stalls, and traditional evening fireworks, in line with the Sicilian patronal tradition.
