Edition 2025 — Battle between Turks and Christians
In 2025, the Feast of the Madonna del Rosario in Tollo renewed the centuries-old tradition of the historical re-enactment. On Saturday, August 2, at 9:00 PM, the historical pageant with over three hundred participants in medieval costume crossed the village streets, culminating in the investiture ceremony of the Baroni Nolli.
On Sunday, August 3, at noon, in Piazza Caduti di Nassiriya, about eighty participants brought to life the battle between Turks and Christians, amidst wooden swords and flying watermelons. The event concluded on Friday, August 8, at 10:30 PM, with the evocative night-time repeat "Turks by Night". The event, with free admission, was accompanied by food stalls and shows.
