Edition 2025 — Immaculate Conception of Campobello

The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception in Campobello di Licata took place from November 29th to December 8th at the Gesù e Maria Church. The novena, opened by Vicar General Father Giuseppe Cumbo, featured thematic days for families, emigrants, the unemployed, entrepreneurs, and workers. On December 8th, after the morning masses, the 6:00 PM Eucharistic Liturgy presided over by Archpriest Father Giuseppe Costanza was followed by the solemn procession through the city streets.

2025 Edition

The 2025 Immaculate Conception festivities in Campobello di Licata opened on Saturday, November 29th, with Holy Mass by Vicar General Father Giuseppe Cumbo, the inauguration of the Charity Raffle, and the City Advent Vigil. On Sunday, November 30th, Family Day, the 10:30 AM celebration involved children and teenagers from catechism classes, followed by the Rosary, the novena, and the 5:30 PM Mass presided over by Father Carmelo La Magra.

The festival culminated on Monday, December 8th: Holy Masses in the morning at 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM, then at 6:00 PM the solemn Eucharistic Liturgy presided over by Archpriest Father Giuseppe Costanza, with Father Marco Damanti and Father Augustino Mgovano. This was followed by the procession through the city streets with civil and military authorities and, before the statue returned to the church, the act of entrusting the city to the Immaculate Virgin. The traditions of the vamparotti and the muffuletta completed the festival.
