Feast of the Holy Physician Saints 2025 in Manduria

From May 21 to 28, 2025, the preparatory novena was held: every evening, the Confraternity and the faithful gathered in prayer at the church of the Holy Physician Saints, with Holy Mass entrusted to various priests of the Mandurian community.

On Thursday, May 29, the main day of the feast, the translation of the saints' statues to the Mother Church took place at 9:00 AM, followed at 10:00 AM by the solemn Mass presided over by Monsignor Angelo Massafra, Archbishop Emeritus of Shkodër. In the afternoon, at 6:00 PM, after Holy Mass, the solemn procession passed through the main city streets accompanied by the "Vincenzo Tripaldi" brass band of Manduria, with the reception in Piazza Garibaldi and the traditional release of hot-air balloons. The civil part featured a concert by the "Walter Tommasino" association band, conducted by Maestro Errico Agnello.
