Edition 2025 — Feast of the Holy Crucifix

In 2025, Geraci Siculo once again celebrated the Feast of the Holy Crucifix "Pani e Paradisu" on May 3rd. Following the octave, the wooden Crucifix was carried in procession through the streets of the Madonie village, with the participation of confraternities, barefoot faithful with votive candles, and many emigrants who returned to the village for the occasion. The festival confirmed its role as a key identity event for the Geraci community and the devotional path of the "Cities of the Holy Crucifix".

2025 Edition

On May 3rd, 2025, the community of Geraci Siculo experienced the traditional Feast of the Holy Crucifix, preceded by the octave of prayer. The procession of the wooden Crucifix crossed the historic center amidst confraternities, faithful with votive torches, and children chanting the ancient invocation "Pani e paradisu, misericordia Signuri". The 2025 edition also saw the participation of other municipalities from the "Cities of the Holy Crucifix" network, confirming the strong devotional bond that unites the Madonie villages and inland Sicily.
