Feast of the Holy Apostles Philip and James

The 2025 edition of the Feast of the Holy Apostles Philip and James took place in Diso between the end of April and the first days of May, confirming the vitality of a tradition over a century old. As is customary, the eve opened the festivities with the lighting of the illuminations, while the main day featured the procession of the patrons through the streets of the historic center, the solemn Eucharistic celebration, and brass band concerts.

The characteristic daytime fireworks competition was not missing, an authentic trademark of the Diso feast, along with the evening musical shows that enlivened the village. Once again, Diso attracted thousands of visitors, reaffirming its fame as the "smallest town with the biggest feast" in Salento.
