Edition 2025 — Feast of the Addolorata
The 2025 Feast of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows renewed an ancient and deeply felt tradition in Santo Stefano di Camastra (ME). The celebrations, marked by liturgical rites of great spiritual intensity, culminated in the procession of the Addolorata statue through the town streets, accompanied by the brass band, songs, and prayers of the many faithful. The procession, enlivened by the participation of many local families, passed through the historic center lit by festive illuminations, confirming the strong bond between the community and its co-patron, venerated alongside Saint Nicholas of Bari. The feast also served as a moment of gathering and collective identity for the ceramics village overlooking the Tyrrhenian coast of Messina.
