Edition 2025 — Assumption of Mary in Trappeto
2025 Edition
From August 6th to 15th, 2025, Trappeto celebrated its patron saint with ten days of devotion and festivity. The novena was held in the Mother Church with the rosary and vespers, while craft exhibitions and tastings of the Ferragosto Trappetese came to life along the Giovanni Paolo II seafront.
On August 15th, the program culminated with morning Holy Masses, the welcoming of the Bishop in Piazza Umberto, and the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Archbishop of Monreale, Monsignor Gualtiero Isacchi. In the evening, the procession of the Assumption at sea on a motorboat crossed the Gulf of Castellammare, followed by a musical show in Piazza Falcone e Borsellino and the fireworks display on the pier to close the festivities.
