Feast of the Assumption of Mary / Estate Bompensierina

The program for the Estate Bompensierina 2025, presented by Mayor Salvatore Virciglio, featured events in honor of the Assumption of Mary and Bompensiere emigrants. It opened on August 4th with "Theater under the stars," followed on August 6th by the 4th edition of the Guastedda Nadurisa Festival, featuring a performance by the folk group from the city of Agrigento. On August 7th and 8th, the focus was on youth with "The Last One in the Game," organized by the Youth Council.

On August 12th, the first Singing Festival of the Municipality of Bompensiere was held, alongside the fourth edition of the street food event Passiammu e Mangiammu. On August 13th, there was a social gathering with emigrants and the traditional spaghetti dinner, while the Night of San Lorenzo featured the first community dinner with a walk under the stars. The musical highlight arrived on August 15th, the day of the Assumption, with a concert by Shakalab, and on August 16th with a performance by I Camaleonti, a famous Italian band from the 70s. The program was completed by street soccer and foosball tournaments.
