Feast of St. Pietro Eremita and Maria SS. delle Grazie

The 2025 edition of the Feast of St. Pietro Eremita and Maria SS. delle Grazie renewed Rocca di Botte's devotion to its patrons at the end of August. The village in the Marsica area, in the province of L'Aquila, experienced the traditional days of celebration with the procession of the saint's statue through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by banners and religious services also honoring Maria SS. delle Grazie.

There was no shortage of the most iconic rites, from the blessed bread offered to pilgrims to the bond with Trevi nel Lazio, the city where St. Pietro Eremita died and with which Rocca di Botte has shared the saint's cult for centuries. Alongside the religious celebrations, moments of music, popular games, and conviviality enlivened the village, drawing residents and emigrants back to the town.
