Feast of San Petronio

The 2025 edition of the Feast of San Petronio took place on Saturday, October 4th, in Bologna. The religious day featured Holy Masses at 9 AM, 10 AM, and 11:30 AM, and the solemn celebration at 5 PM presided over by Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, followed by the procession with the patron saint's relics and the blessing of the city from the parvis of the Basilica of San Petronio.

In Piazza Maggiore, from 4 PM, the crescentone hosted 'Il grande gioco in Piazza'; at 7 PM, music by the Verdi Note dell'Antoniano, and at 8:30 PM, after the award ceremony for the game, a performance by the Orchestra of the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation together with singer-songwriter Ron. Grand finale at 11 PM with the traditional fireworks display over the piazza.
