Feast of San Dordi

In 2025, the Festa de San Dordi in Sovramonte re-enacted the rituals that have marked the occasion for almost four centuries. The vow mass was celebrated on April 23rd in the hamlet of Sorriva, followed on the subsequent Sunday by the penitential procession of the cappati and the house-to-house distribution of the votive bean soup, prepared according to ancient tradition and carried by the conscripts in Sovramonte costume.

The Palio of Saint George was also held, seeing the four historic districts of the village compete, accompanied by the gastronomic and folkloric festival that characterizes the event.
