Edition 2025 — Santi Medici Muro Leccese
Faith and tradition in Muro Leccese
The 2025 Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian opened with the preparatory novena starting on September 17, culminating in the solemn days of September 26, 27, and 28. Alongside the religious celebrations and the procession with the statue of the saints, the festival offered the rich civil program typical of Salento's patronal feasts.
The "Città di San Giorgio Jonico" Grand Brass Band was the musical highlight, while the evenings featured light displays animated by synchronized choreography and a pop music show with Zagor Gianluca Perrone that had the entire Piazza del Popolo dancing. The traditional fireworks display, managed by the Mega Francesco pyrotechnic company from Scorrano, provided a grand finale to the festivities.
