Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Vitus
In 2025, the Feast of Saint Vitus the Martyr in Partanna, in the province of Trapani, took place from June 12th to 15th, renewing a devotion spanning over five centuries. The festival opened with the presentation of the restored silver reliquary of Saint Vitus from the Mother Church, a tangible sign of the care with which the community preserves its heritage of faith.
On the patron saint's day, June 15th, religious ceremonies intertwined with the historical pageant and the procession of the simulacrum through the streets of the center, with the participation of delegations from Vita, Mazara del Vallo, and Campobello di Mazara, cities that venerate Saint Vitus as their patron. The solemn Eucharistic celebration and the Act of Entrustment to the Patron Saint sealed days of faith, historical memory, and intense popular participation.
