Feast of Saint Vitus the Martyr

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Vitus the Martyr in Accadia took place on Sunday, September 28, following the custom of the fourth Sunday of the month. The day was marked by religious rites in honor of the patron saint: solemn masses in the town churches and the solemn procession with the statue of the saint through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the faithful and the sound of the band. There was no shortage of brass band concerts, artistic illuminations, musical entertainment in the square, and stalls with typical Daunia products. The Municipality of Accadia also included in its official calendar the traditional market fair on Monday, September 29, an event linked to the patronal festivities that concludes the feast in the village of the Daunian Sub-Apennines.
