Edition 2025 — Aragona Sausage Festival
2025 Edition
In 2025, Aragona celebrated its patron saint, Saint Vincent Ferrer, during the weekend of September 12-14, with the main day falling on the second Sunday of September. The 38th Sausage Festival enlivened Via Roma and Via Garibaldi with stalls from local butchers and the traditional hand-beaten sausage sandwich grilled in the historic stalls.
The churches in the historic center were illuminated and kept open until the evening, with the restored Carmine Church displaying the image of the Saint surrounded by candles. The festivities concluded with a concert by Lello Analfino, featuring music, folklore, and strong participation from local volunteers and associations. The event, organized with the Aragona Pro Loco, the Municipality, and the parish, attracted visitors from across the province of Agrigento.
