Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Venera

In 2025, the Feast of Saint Venera in Santa Venerina was celebrated on Sunday, July 27. After the three-day preparation and solemn vespers on Saturday, Sunday featured morning fireworks, the opening of the statue's chapel, the solemn pontifical mass, and, in the evening, the procession of the Saint through the streets of the center, which concluded at midnight with the return to the Mother Church. The main square hosted the musical events of the patronal feast.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Venera took place on Sunday, July 27 in Santa Venerina, in the Province of Catania, following the traditional calendar of the Sunday following the liturgical memory of July 26.

The festivities were preceded by the three-day preparation in the Mother Church, culminating in the solemn vespers on Saturday evening. On Sunday, morning fireworks announced the feast day; around 10:15 AM, the chapel of the statue was opened, and it was moved to the high altar for the solemn pontifical mass. In the evening, the procession crossed the town's parishes to the main square, enlivened by musical events and social gatherings, concluding at midnight with the repositioning of the statue in its chapel.
