Feast of Saint Philip of Agira

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Philip of Agira in Rodì Milici renewed the secular rite of May 12th. The day opened with the descent of the statue from the Church of Saint Philip on the hill to the Church of the Immaculate Conception; in the evening, the procession traveled through the village streets accompanied by the brass band, with the characteristic wheat ears placed between the statue's fingers.

At the end of the procession, fireworks illuminated the town sky, and the faithful, gathered on the steps, invoked the saint's protection with the traditional chant. During the feast days, the village hosted the Ancient Market Fair of Saint Philip, featuring local food and wine products, local crafts, and the traditional livestock market.
