Edition 2025 — Saint Nicholas of Salemi

On December 6, 2025, Salemi celebrated its Patron Saint, Nicholas of Bari, with the traditional program of religious rites and festivities. The day opened in the morning with Holy Masses in the Mother Church and continued in the afternoon with the Holy Rosary, the Chaplet to Saint Nicholas, and the solemn Eucharistic celebration, followed by the procession of the Saint's statue through the streets of the historic center and the customary fireworks.

The 2025 edition

On December 6, 2025, the city of Salemi (TP) renewed its devotion to its Patron Saint, Saint Nicholas of Bari. In the morning, Holy Masses were celebrated in the Mother Church (at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM); in the afternoon, at 4:15 PM, the Holy Rosary and the Chaplet to Saint Nicholas were held, followed at 5:00 PM by the solemn Eucharistic celebration.

In the evening, the statue of the Saint was carried in procession through the main streets of the city, accompanied by confraternities, authorities, and the marching band, with the tribute of the districts rendered through fireworks displays. The day concluded with a pyrotechnic show, the traditional seal of the Salemi festival.
