Edition 2025 — U Quadrittu of Saponara
The 2025 edition took place regularly from December 6th to 8th in the historic center of Saponara, in the province of Messina. After the novena, on the evening of December 6th, the procession of the silver bust of Saint Nicholas opened the celebrations. The night of December 7th was dedicated to U Quadrittu: the torchbearers, protected against sparks, walked through the town streets carrying long lit torches, accompanying the image of the Virgin until late at night. On December 8th, the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, the wooden statue of the Madonna was carried in procession, sealing three days of intense popular devotion.
