Feast of Saint Michael the Archangel

The 2025 edition of the feast of Neviano's co-patron, in the province of Lecce, took place on Monday, September 29th, with a solemn liturgical celebration in honor of Saint Michael the Archangel at the town's Mother Church.

The day was intertwined with the cultural project "Neviano Viva: roots, talents, and community", supported by the Regional Council of Puglia and divided into three events (August 29th, September 7th, and September 29th, 2025). The final event on September 29th, titled "Tradition and Cult", was held in Piazza Concordia and combined memory, spirituality, and singer-songwriter music, with a moment dedicated to the singing and folk traditions of Salento. The initiative, which also enlivened the covered market area and the streets of the center, highlighted the cultural, artistic, and social heritage of Neviano by focusing on dialogue between generations.
