2025 Edition
In 2025, the Feast of Saint Lawrence the Martyr once again animated Sant'Agata li Battiati on August 9th and 10th. The eve featured solemn vespers and the traditional charity auction in the Mother Church of Maria Santissima Annunziata.
On August 10th, at 9:00 AM, the "Svelata" ritual of the statue was renewed, followed by the solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the Archbishop of Catania. In the evening, the Vara procession traversed the town streets amidst fireworks and festive bell ringing, culminating in Piazza Chiesa Madre with the extraordinary pyromusical show and 3D video mapping on the church facade.
