Edition 2025 — Saint Lawrence Tivoli

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, Tivoli celebrated its patron saint, Lawrence the Martyr, with a rich liturgical and popular program: Masses in the Cathedral from the morning, a treasure hunt for children, the solemn Pontifical Mass at 6:00 PM presided over by Bishop Mauro Parmeggiani, and the traditional procession through the historic center with the floral offering of the districts. In the evening, food stalls, music in the square, a raffle drawing, and fireworks.

Saint Lawrence 2025: a festive Sunday for Tivoli

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast fell on a Sunday, drawing a large turnout of faithful and citizens. After the morning Masses in the Cathedral (7:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM) and the treasure hunt for children through the neighborhood streets, at 6:00 PM, the Bishop of Tivoli and Palestrina, Monsignor Mauro Parmeggiani, presided over the solemn Pontifical Mass in the presence of civil, military, and religious authorities.

Afterward, the traditional procession wound through the streets of the historic center with the heartfelt offering of flowers by the districts of Tivoli to the patron saint. The evening continued with festivities: at 9:00 PM, the opening of food stalls and the charity raffle, at 10:00 PM, the musical evening in the square, and at 11:00 PM, the raffle drawing followed by the fireworks display. Popular festivities continued over the following two days with games, raffles, and music.
